COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND SUMMER PROGRAMS MANAGER

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week), in-person, exempt

Our team is seeking an individual to manage and maintain the operations, finances, and pedagogical aspects of our Community Engagement programs and events as well as our summer and school vacation programming at the Music School. The applicant will embrace our mission of sharing the transformative power of music through teaching and performing, and giving music generously when there is need. They will energetically and thoroughly take ownership over all of our Community Engagement efforts, and will oversee, invigorate, and expand our summer programming. PATRON SERVICES ASSOCIATE

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week: Tuesday – Saturday), in-person, non-exempt
Salary: $18-21 per hour
Start Date: Immediate

Groton Hill Music Center is the region’s premier center for outstanding music education, professional performances, and community engagement programs. Our team has an immediate opening for a Patron Services Associate. This individual reports to the Assistant Director of Education and works with the staff, faculty, volunteers, concert patrons, and Music School students and families. The primary function of this position is customer service, along with a variety of other essential functions. Music School Faculty

TRUMPET INSTRUCTOR

Hours: Part-time (Saturdays), in-person, hourly
Pay: Commensurate with experience
Start Date: July 2022

Groton Hill Music Center is the region’s premier center for outstanding music education, professional performances, and community engagement programs. Our Music School offers lessons in 30+ instruments and voice for all ages in all musical styles with a faculty of 70+ professional teaching artists. We have an opening for a part-time Trumpet Instructor involving private lesson instruction with students of all age and ability levels, across all relevant styles. Summer teaching days are flexible; school year teaching will take place in Groton on Saturdays (morning and afternoon), and will include leadership of a student Brass Ensemble from 11:30-12:30 each week. GUITAR INSTRUCTOR

Hours: Part-time; in-person; ad hoc hours summer in Littleton; weekly in Groton beginning September 10
Pay: Commensurate with experience
Start Date: July 2022

VOICE INSTRUCTOR

Groton Hill Music Center is the region’s premier center for outstanding music education, professional performances, and community engagement programs. Our Music School offers lessons in 30+ instruments and voice for all ages in all musical styles with a faculty of 70+ professional teaching artists. We have an opening for a part-time Voice Department faculty member. This role involves private lesson instruction with teenage and adult students of all levels, across a stylistic spectrum that includes contemporary commercial, a cappella, and musical theatre. Summer teaching days are flexible; school year teaching will take place on one or more weekdays (afternoon and evening), and/or on Saturdays (morning and afternoon), depending on the availability of the candidate and student demand.
