“Acoustically Stunning.” A.Z. Madonna reviews Jeremy Denk and Meadow Hall

Celebrity Series of Boston presented pianist and MacArthur “genius” grant recipient Jeremy Denk on Sunday, December 10, and the show was met with rave reviews from the Boston Globe’s A.Z. Madonna.

In her wonderful writeup about the performance, she commented on the, “staggering acoustic sensitivity,” of the room, and declared, “I don’t know how it gets better than Meadow Hall.”

Groton Hill is so grateful to Celebrity Series of Boston for the opportunity to present artists like Denk. A.Z. Madonna left us with one final quip about Meadow Hall for all her fellow Bostonians. “If you have a car, it’s worth the drive. If you don’t have a car, it’s worth bribing a friend to drive you. Buy them dinner and a ticket if that’s what it takes.”
