Cantate is Groton Hill’s newest chorus for singers ages 13-17, led by award-winning choral director Brianne Biastoff! Singers will explore a wide variety of challenging choral repertoire, from Italian madrigals to Indonesian folksongs, choral masterworks by Gustav Holst to music by contemporary composers like Randall Thompson, Rollo Dilworth, and Darius Lim. Cantate will perform in the Vista Philharmonic Orchestra’s popular “Christmas Magic” concerts as well as our Youth Choruses!
