Jerry Sabatini directs an evening of Big Band Jazz spanning the rich history, styles, and traditions of this great American art form from its roots in the 1920s to the present. Founded in 1999 by Sabatini, the Groton Hill Big Band — comprised of adult musicians — will perform instrumental and vocal music of Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Mary Lou Williams, Benny Carter, Count Basie, Buddy Rich, Chick Corea, Tim Davies, and many more!
