Organist Randy Steere plays a program of surprising, seldom-heard, and new works on our Hauptwerk virtual pipe organ that stand out for their passion, drive, and beauty. From female baroque composer Von Bayreuth (a contemporary of Bach) and seldom heard pieces by Saint-Saens, Jongen and Lanquetuit to new works by Heron and Gawthrop, this program will feature absolutely wonderful gems that deserve more attention. Of course the most dramatic organ composition from our old friend, J.S. Bach, will be included as well!

Acclaimed for his solo appearances throughout New England, Randy Steere most recently served as Assistant Organist at Old South Church in Boston. He is currently Dean of the Worcester AGO Chapter, Treasurer of the Merrimack Valley AGO Chapter, a Trustee at the Methuen Memorial Music Hall and Resident Organist with the Vista Philharmonic Orchestra at the Groton Hill Music Center.
