Spotlight on Groton Hill’s December Sponsor: Enterprise Bank

Enterprise Bank is a community bank with 27 locations throughout Northeastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. For nearly 35 years, they have focused on creating success for businesses and individuals. They achieve this by building trusted relationships as well as offering comprehensive personal banking, mortgage, business banking, commercial lending, and cash management services.

A Groton Hill Corporate Partner since 2010, Enterprise Bank maintains a strong relationship with our organization. This month we spoke with George Nugent, Enterprise Bank’s Marketing Manager, VP, to highlight the many ways we work together to build community.

Why does Enterprise Bank support non-profit organizations like Groton Hill Music Center?

One of Enterprise’s core values is to support our community through sponsorship of organizations and causes as well as volunteerism at community events and by encouraging bankers to serve on non-profit boards. Additionally, we provide business banking and lending options that address the specific needs and challenges that non-profits encounter.

Supporting Groton Hill is a natural fit for Enterprise as we have been a supporter of the arts since our founding. Groton Hill’s educational programming enriches our communities and inspires a love for music in future generations through its nonprofit school. “With its beautiful new world-class performance venue and education space, Groton Hill is attracting top performers from around the world, along with providing elevated musical experiences,” said Cheryl Serpe, Senior Regional Manager, SVP, for Enterprise’s Nashoba region. “For our local communities, the ease of access and proximity to these experiences is invaluable.”

What is it like for Enterprise to partner with Groton Hill?

Enterprise Bank has a strong commitment to the regions in which it operates, and we have proudly supported Groton Hill for the last 13 years. The bank has sponsored programming as a regular sponsor of the Vista Philharmonic Orchestra, including December’s “Christmas Magic” concerts. Enterprise also made a leadership gift to Groton Hill’s campaign. Officers from the bank have served on Groton Hill’s Board of Directors. And you generously provided your facilities as a host for our Non-Profit Collaborative seminars for many years when you were located in Littleton. Held at various community locations, these seminars are led by local experts on topics such as workforce diversity, fundraising, risk management, board development, and strategic planning.

In December, Enterprise Bank will be Groton Hill’s featured sponsor for the month. According to Catherine Coleman, Groton Hill’s Director of Development: “We’ve introduced month-long sponsorships for those companies who give $10,000+ and are delighted that Enterprise Bank is our first sponsor of this kind. Because Groton Hill communicates through so many different vehicles, this approach concentrates and greatly expands the promotional benefits that sponsors receive.” If you are curious to learn more about Groton Hill Music Center sponsorships, contact Catherine at ccoleman@grotonhill.org.

Any closing thoughts from your team?

We hope to continue this partnership as Groton Hill grows into its new home and we’re excited to be the December Sponsor. “Groton Hill’s new education and performance facility is a magnificent space, and our community is fortunate to have a gem like Groton Hill Music Center in our backyard,” remarked Alison Burns, Enterprise Bank’s Community Relations & Customer Experience Officer, SVP. “We value the work you are doing to promote music education and the personal growth of your students, as well as increasing access through community engagement.”
