B.M in Music Education, University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Percussion studies under Ayano Kataoka, Thom Hannum, Eduardo Leandro, and Ian Hale. M.M. in Music Education/Wind Conducting, Hartt School of Music. Principal teachers: Glen Adsit, Edward Cumming, David Martins, James Patrick Miller, and Lanfranco Marcelletti. Summer conducting symposiums with Craig Kirchhoff, Jerry Luckhardt, Frank Ticheli, and the late Michael Colgrass.
Adam Shekleton is an experienced music educator and band conductor. He is currently Director of Bands at Westford Academy, where he teaches multiple performing arts and general music courses. He previously taught high school instrumental music at Randolph High School and elementary music in the Fitchburg Public Schools. Adam also serves as Music Director of the Randolph Community Band.
