Josh Weinberg

Community Engagement Faculty: Bucket Drumming at Boys & Girls Club of Leominster & Fitchburg

Teaching Philosophy

First and foremost, I strive to cultivate passion within those I work with. By balancing focus between a study of the music and great musicians of the past, fundamental techniques/concepts and basic patterns, along with being able to play/create the music individuals enjoy listening to, my primary goal is to open people up to an immense love and appreciation of music. And from there, technical mastery can ensue.

Education

B.M. in Drum Performance and Electronic Production & Design, Berklee College of Music. Principal teachers: David Hurst, Joey Scrima, Bob Gullotti, Henrique De Almedia, Steve MacLean, Dr. Richard Boulanger
