Teaching PhilosophyLinda is a patient and supportive teacher. She feels a student’s first teacher is extremely important to spark a love of music and get them off to a great start. Her teaching style includes a variety of approaches depending on a student’s learning style. Linda’s lessons are tailored to meet the needs and interests of the student. She feels that classical music provides the foundation for lessons and can be supplemented with a mix of popular, folk, and jazzy music. Lessons at all levels include music reading, theory, technique, ear training, and most importantly, how to make practice effective and enjoyable.
