Morgen Heissenbeuttel is a violinist and educator based in New England, and holds an MM from Boston University studying with Minju Kim, and holds a BM/BA (music and psychology) from Valparaiso University with Katharina Uhde. She performs with several regional orchestras, including the New Bedford Symphony, Atlantic Symphony, Cape Symphony, Boston Chamber Symphony, and Portsmouth Symphony, and loves both chamber music and orchestral work. Morgen is passionate about early music practice and freelances on baroque violin in Boston and the Midwest. She also served as an arts administrator for the Boston Early Music Festival and directs three orchestra ensembles at Boston Public Schools through the Boston Music Project.
