Spotlight: Groton Hill’s June Sponsor

Fidelity Bank is Groton Hill’s sponsor for the month of June! They have been supporting Groton Hill for many years, but stepped up their partnership in 2022, as Groton Hill was preparing to open its new world-class facility. Fidelity has been especially important to the success and growth of our community engagement programs in Leominster, Fitchburg and Gardner where Fidelity has a significant presence.

“The educational programs offered to people of all ages, from young children to adults, not only teach musical skills but also promote discipline, creativity and teamwork,” said Ed Manzi, Fidelity Bank Chairman and CEO. “By providing opportunities for individuals to engage with, and appreciate, countless forms of music, Groton Hill fosters cultural enrichment and diversity and strengthens the cultural fabric of our community.”

Fidelity supports Groton Hill’s free weekly violin lessons and ensemble coaching in the Fitchburg schools. They also provide funding for our ukulele and drumming classes in the Boys & Girls Club. These classes introduce children and teens to hands-on music experiences that encourage self-expression and collaboration.

“Supporting Groton Hill Music ensures that people in the community have access to these benefits,” said Manzi. “Fidelity Bank’s longtime partnership with Groton Hill aligns with the bank’s values of being dedicated to, and deeply rooted in, the well-being of the communities we serve.” Fidelity helps strengthen Groton Hill’s role as a flagship education and performance center that creates jobs, attracts visitors, and stimulates spending in surrounding businesses.

Groton Hill Music’s CEO Lisa Fiorentino emphasizes that our mission to share the transformative power of music aligns closely with the bank’s commitment to education and community cohesion. “Fidelity Bank has long been recognized as an institution that cares about their customers and focuses on improving the quality of life in the communities they serve,” said Fiorentino. “We are deeply grateful for the outstanding partnership between Fidelity Bank and Groton Hill.”

Manzi added: “Groton Hill Music Center also serves as a leader in featuring emerging and renowned artists in a diversity of genres. It has not only enhanced the quality of life in our community but also contributes to its vitality and resilience.” On a personal note, Ed Manzi has attended numerous concerts at Groton Hill with his family and friends, and says that these experiences have been exceptional!
