Kathy McMinn, Director

Groton Hill Youth Choruses

Kathy McMinn is an award-winning music educator with over 35 years of experience. Her passion for choral music has been her motivation in developing several successful choruses that have pushed the potential of their singers. She directed the Federal Furnace Treble Chorus and was the founding director of the Plymouth Children’s Chorus, two guest choruses who performed with the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra. Kathy founded South Shore Conservatory’s Pure Treble and Pure Harmony choruses. Both were accredited with performing with the Plymouth Philharmonic, the African Children’s Choir, and a special performance for then-Vice President Biden. She also directed the 2017 Plymouth Schools Elementary All Town Chorus and co-directed the Plymouth International Chorus in performances in Plymouth, Massachusetts and Plymouth, England. Brianne Biastoff, Director

Cantate Chorus

Brianne Biastoff is the choral director at Nashua High School North and director of The Common Voice Community Choir at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Her ensembles have performed across North America and Europe and regularly collaborate with collegiate and community ensembles. She serves as President of NH ACDA and has been recognized for her leadership in choral music statewide in New Hampshire. Brianne is also an active guest conductor, clinician, and performer, and lives in Nashua, NH with her son.

Julia Lorenzetti, Assistant Director

Groton Hill Youth Choruses

Julia Lorenzetti began her musical journey playing classical trombone in the sixth grade and began to study voice in high school. She studied trombone, voice, and music education at the University of Miami Frost School of Music. Julia worked recently for three years at a private school in Newton teaching preschool through grade 6 elementary general music. She currently teaches early childhood music classes and rock band classes for 4 through 7 year olds in the North Shore area. She lives in Reading with three young children of her own.
