About Our Director: Andrea Mejia
Andrea Mejia has taught band at the beginner level through high school for more than 15 years and serves as the K–12 Visual and Performing Arts Curriculum Coordinator for the Westford Public Schools. She has adjudicated for Festivals at both the Junior and Senior level, and has maintained a private studio teaching clarinet in addition to performing as an orchestral and chamber clarinetist.
Kevin A. Virgilio, trombone soloist
Hailed by the New York Music Daily as a “carefree” and “soulful” player, Kevin A. Virgilio is a Boston-based trombonist and educator whose performances run the gamut of contemporary and classical styles. An active freelance musician, Dr. Virgilio has appeared with the Rhode Island Philharmonic, the New York Festival Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale, the Bergen Symphony Orchestra, and the Westchester Oratorio Society.
