Spring Arts Mashup: Finale Concert

Friday, 4/21 at 3:30pm

A celebration of world music featuring music, dance, and artwork from Hawaii and Ireland. We’ll also hear a special class song created by students in our coding class and see the awesome work everyone has  done during the week! This is a show you do NOT want to miss!

Groton Hill Big Band Concert

Thursday, 4/27 at 7:30pm

An evening of Big Band Jazz spanning the rich history, styles, and traditions of this great American art form from its roots in the 1920s to the present. Founded in 1999 by director Jerry Sabatini, the Groton Hill Big Band, comprised of adult musicians, will perform the instrumental and vocal music of Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Mary Lou Williams, Benny Carter, Count Basie, Buddy Rich, Chick Corea, Tim Davies, and many more!

Groton Hill Youth Ensembles: Spring Concert

Saturday, 5/13 at 1:00pm in the Concert Hall

Camerata Strings, Chamber Strings, Sinfonia Concert Orchestra, and Groton Hill Wind Ensemble present their spring concert spectacular! Under the direction of Jennifer Perkins, Ken Culver, and Fred Harris, our youth ensembles will perform the music of Schubert, Holst, Grainger, Custer, and Rhiannon Giddons. The concert also includes a wind ensemble world premiere by Francesca Gaza dedicated to the people of Ukraine, and featuring the Blanchard Elementary School Chorus.
TICKETS: $13/adults (free for ages 12 and under)

Flute Orchestra of Groton Hill: Season Finale

Dr. Eileen Yarrison leads this outstanding ensemble of adult musicians in classical and contemporary works arranged or written for flutes.

Youth Choruses: Season Finale

Tuesday, 6/6 at 6:00pm in Meadow Hall

Directors Kathy McMinn and Laura Altenor lead our young singers in a variety of songs that demonstrate the progress they have made throughout the year. Once again, all three choruses will have the opportunity to sing for each other, as well as join together for the last song.

Collegium Musicum Baroque Orchestra: Open Rehearsal 

Monday, 10/2

Under the direction of Tim Terranella, the Collegium Musicum Baroque Orchestra will kick off their 2023/24 season with an open rehearsal (7-9pm) for prospective members. Specializing in the music of the Baroque and Classical masters, including Bach’s Brandenburg Concerti, the Collegium Music is open to intermediate to advanced teens 16+ and adults who play strings, woodwinds, and harpsichord.
