Student Recitals

Student Recitals – for family, friends, and the Groton Hill Music School community to enjoy – help you build confidence, while providing goals for lessons and home practice. Participation is not required, but we encourage you to perform in at least two recitals each year. Student recitals are held in January/February and May/June. They are open to all instruments, ages, and abilities, and take place in one of our beautiful performance spaces.

Student Evaluations

Regular communication with your teacher helps you to stay focused on your musical goals, your strengths, and areas in need of improvement. Our faculty also provide a more formal evaluation of your musical progress through a written and or verbal progress report each fall.

Masterclasses and Workshops with Guest Artists

Learn professional playing, practicing, and performance strategies from a variety of our guest performers at these pre-concert workshops and masterclasses. Free for participating Groton Hill students. Schedule coming soon!

Community Outreach Performances

Student soloists and ensembles are sometimes asked to participate in our outreach programs throughout the region. These are wonderful opportunities for our musicians of all ages to share their talents with others, build performing experience, and volunteer in their community.
