This unique chamber music program is open to string, wind, and piano students with 5+ years of experience.
Dr. Christina Dietrich began her piano studies at age three, made her first public performance at age five, and was a soloist with the NEC Orchestra at age nine. She has performed on world-renowned stages in the U.S. and Europe, including Jordan Hall and Symphony Hall in Boston, and Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York. She has collaborated with such noted composers as Lucas Foss and Theodore Antoniou. Christina’s musical line extends back to Beethoven and Salieri by way of her teachers, descendants of both Franz Liszt and Theodor Leschetitzky. She takes great pride in having the honor and privilege of passing that legacy on to future generations — a mission she takes to heart as a teacher and performing artist.
Tim Terranella has performed as both cellist and flutist with many of Boston’s most prestigious musical organizations including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Esplanade Pops, New Hampshire Symphony, Cape Cod Symphony, Symphony New Hampshire, Boston Academy of Music, Claflin Hill Symphony, Boston Lyric Opera, and the Bostonian Chamber Players. He has also performed and recorded in the New York area as a member of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. Tim has dedicated much of his professional experience to teaching the cello and flute and coaching chamber ensembles. He has served on the faculties of Boston University, Buckingham and Nichols School, and the Groton School.
Dr. Colleen Hartung is an avid educator and freelance musician that has performed with the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra, Allentown Symphony, Williamsport Symphony, Winston-Salem Symphony, Opera Roanoke, Roanoke Symphony, and the Ashlawn Opera Festival Orchestra. As a chamber musician, Colleen was a founding member of the Sunderman Woodwind Quintet while on the faculty of the Sunderman Conservatory of Music at Gettysburg College. She has also performed with the Dover Quartet and toured internationally with the Weis Trio. In addition to her work at Groton Hill, Colleen coaches chamber music ensembles and teaches classes in the Music Department at UMASS-Lowell.

Internationally known pianist and educator, Victor Rosenbaum, has been a mainstay of Boston’s musical community for more than five decades. He studied with Rosina Lhevinne and Leonard Shure while earning degrees at Brandeis and Princeton.
A committed chamber musician, he has collaborated with such artists as Leonard Rose, Laurence Lesser, Joseph Silverstein, James Buswell, Malcolm Lowe, and the Brentano, Borromeo, and Cleveland String Quartets.
A renowned educator, Rosenbaum’s 16 years as Director and President of the Longy School of Music (1985-2001) transformed the school into a full-fledged degree granting conservatory. He was on the faculty of Mannes School of Music (NY) from 2004-2017, a Visiting Professor of Piano at the Eastman School of Music, and a guest teacher at Juilliard. During his long tenure on the faculty of New England Conservatory, Rosenbaum chaired its Piano and Chamber Music Departments for more than a decade. Recently retired, he now devotes his time to guest teaching, master classes, recording, and concerts.
In-person skills assessments will be held on May 16. Once registration is complete, a link to book your time slot will be sent via email. These assessments will not be intimidating like a formal audition, instead, they give our faculty coordinator insight on how to properly place students into ensembles and plan music for the program.

Our requirements are not gender-specific – all members are encouraged to select clothing that makes them feel comfortable performing and generally follow formal concert attire.
