Giving Spring ’22

Donate by 6/30 for a 1:1 match!

Recital Season is May 14 – June 25!

We’re looking forward to your spring recitals and to raising funds for scholarships and community engagement to help our high-need neighbors and school districts.

As a non-profit community music school, we believe that high-quality musical experiences should be accessible to all. In a typical year, we invest over $150,000 in need-based education and performance programs serving thousands in our region. Your generous donations provide a significant portion of our funds for the year. Every dollar makes a BIG difference!

Double your impact! Donations made by June 30th will be matched 1:1 by a group of 6 generous supporters.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted us all financially, emotionally, and socially. Gifts to our Scholarship and Community Engagement Fund are more important than ever due to the hardships that many of our student families and others in the communities we serve are experiencing.

Donate online or mail a check to: Groton Hill Music, P.O. Box 1484, Littleton, MA  01460.
(If you are affiliated with one of our students, please include their name in check memo.)

Your Donations Support These Vital Community Programs

Our partnerships with Fitchburg, Ayer-Shirley, Lawrence, Lowell, and Clinton public schools provide free music lessons, band and string programs, and performing opportunities to students who might not otherwise have the chance to learn to play. Plus, our after-school program at the Boys and Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster features year-round bucket drumming and ukulele classes.

“I like making my own rhythm, and I like how the ukulele sounds!”

Our free monthly Bach’s Lunch concerts bring the joy of live music to seniors and disabled adults in a warm and social setting.

“The concert was amazing. Residents were head bobbing, toe tapping and singing.”

Our bedside choir, the Threshold Singers at Groton Hill, provides comfort through song for the very ill and their families. When invited, two or three singers visit those who are ill or in hospice care to provide songs of comfort, healing, and transition.

“It was an amazing experience… Their voices were lovely and songs perfectly chosen. But it was the atmosphere that was most remarkable.”

Through your support, we offer over $150,000 in need-based scholarships and high-impact outreach programs each year! Every donation helps to ensure that these vital programs continue to make music accessible to all.

“Our family has enjoyed the gift of music thanks to the scholarship program. We are forever grateful to the Music School for their generosity!”
“Music is an integral part of our home. Our boys find such enjoyment and peace while playing and practicing their instruments — and both have a strong relationship with their teachers. The change in our economic situation is hard on us all and it was amazing that they could continue their lessons with the help of a Music School scholarship.”
